The Fairy Queen Train is a special heritage train. It is the oldest working steam locomotive in the world. It was for the first time started its maiden journey in the year of 1855 for the erstwhile East Indian Railway. Today this heritage train holds the Guinness World Record for being the oldest locomotive (steam engine train) in regular operation. Considering the heritage importance of the Royal Fairy Queen Train, it has been started again, once a month, from October to February.
It takes 50 passengers form all over the world and journey is lifetime experience. It runs between Delhi to Alwar. The heritage train stops at every important destination and the ambience inside the train makes you feel like a Maharaja as you take on the royal journey tour on the Fairy Queen Train.
The royal train arrives the charming town of Alwar in Rajasthan the same day, from where you are take to the world famous Sariska Tiger Reserve & National Park for an overnight stay. Two day Fairy Train Tour package includes on-ground catering, lodging, boarding, transfer facility, visit to Sariska Tiger Reserve and cultural programs.
