The Royal Orient Train is one of the most lavish and luxurious trains of India. It is an Indian luxury tourism train that runs between two states – Gujarat and Rajasthan. It covers many important tourist destinations in the two states. This luxury tourism train was modeled on the lines of world popular train – the Palace on Wheels, India’s first luxury tourist train. It is the joint venture of Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited and the Indian Railways. It was started in 1994.
