Bandhavgarh National Park Wildlife Tour ......

One of the finest and most picturesque tiger reserves of India, Bandhavgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the scenic surroundings of the Vindhya hill ranges and the eastern flank of Satpura hill ranges (in all 32 hills surround this beautiful park) in Madhya Pradesh. Once the private hunting ground of the royal family of Rewa, Bandhavgarh Wildlife Sanctuary is famous for its population of tigers, the main attraction being the white tigers.

After independence and the abolition of the princely States of India, an area of 105 sq. km. was notified as a National Park in 1968, which was later increased to 448.84 sq km in 1982. Since then the park has seen a significant rise in its wildlife population, especially tigers whose population is now estimated between 45-50.Considering the importance of Bandhavgarh National Park, it was included in the famous Project Tiger in 1993.

Day 01 Arrive Delhi


After arrival at International Airport in Delhi, Indiashanti-van Tourism representatives will greet and assist you to transfer you to the hotel. In the afternoon proceed on a tour of the capital city. In Old Delhi visit majestic Red Fort, the historical Chandni Chowk, besides Raj Ghat and Shanti Van. In New Delhi visit the Rashtrapati Bhawan, the one-time imperial residence of the British viceroys; the India Gate, a memorial raised in honour of the Indian soldiers martyred during the Afghan war; the Laxmi Narayan Temple, built by the Birlas, one of India's leading industrial families; Qutab Minar, built by Qutub-ud-din Aibek of the Slave Dynasty; and the lotus-shaped Baha'i Temple. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02 Jaipur

Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Jaipur. En route visit Neemrana Fort Palace. Later continue your drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival in Jaipur, India Tourism representatives will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. There are many dinner options available to dine in one of the finest Palace hotels that Jaipur boasts of.

Day 03 Jaipur

After hearty breakfast at the hotel, enjoy excursion to Amber Fort,query situated just outside the city, is perhaps the most beautiful example of Rajasthani forts. You can have the unique experience of traveling on elephant back to and from the top of the hill on which the fort is situated. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur including, City Palace in the heart of Jaipur is known for its blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Not far away is the Central Museum with its large collection of woodwork, another monument near the City Palace, Jantar Mantar, is the largest of the five observatories built by Sawai Jai Singh. The Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds was constructed for the royal ladies to watch the royal processions without being seen. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 04 Ranthambore

After hearty breakfast at the hotel, in the morning drive to Ranthambore National Park, the former hunting ground of the Maharaja of Jaipur. Arrive in Ranthambore. Upon arrival, India Tourism representatives will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Generally a visit to Ranthambore means a visit to the tiger reserve here. In the afternoon, visit Park in jeep in search of tiger with your naturalist. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 05 Ranthambore

Hearty breakfast and lavish lunch at the hotel. Morning and afternoon jeep safari. The park, which is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country, is the main attraction of Ranthambore. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 Agra

After early morning breakfast at the hotel, leave for Agra visiting Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary, Bharatpur en route. The Keoladeo Ghana National Park is home to an astonishing range of flora and fauna. A bike or rickshaw ride through the length and breath of this sanctuary is an unforgettable experience. Also visit Fatehpur Sikri, the red sandstone city of yesteryears. Continue journey to Agra. Arrive in Agra by late afternoon. Upon arrival in Agra, India Tourism representatives will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Relax and freshen up at the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 07 Agra

After hearty breakfast in the morning, enjoy city sightseeing tour visiting The Taj Mahal, which is entirely made of white marble and its walls are decorated with exquisite pietra dura (stone inlay) work. Also visit Agra Fort (also called the Red Fort), which retains the irregular outline of the demolished mud-wall fort of the Lodis. The Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula is located in a walled garden overlooking the Yamuna. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 08 Khajuraho

After early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Railway Station in time to board Shatabdi Express for Jhansi. Arrive Jhansi and drive to Khajuraho visiting Orchha en route. The Chaturbhuj Temple and Laxmi Narayan Temple are two important religious attractions in Orchha. Arrive at Khajuraho by afternoon. Upon arrival in Khajuraho, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Later, enjoy sightseeing tour of Khajurhao Temples. The Western Group has 14 temples. The Chaunsath Yogini, Lalguan Mahadev, Parvati, Varaha, Matangesvara, Lakshmana, Vishvanath and Nandi, Chitragupta, Devi Jagdamba and Kandariya Mahadeo. The Eastern Group consists of seven temples (four Jain and three Hindu). The Parsvanath, Adinath, Shantinath, and Ghantai temples belong to the Jains while the Vamana, Javari and Brahma are Hindu temples. After sightseeing of temples, comeBandhavgarh back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 09 Bandhavgarh

After early morning breakfast, drive to Bandhavgarh. Upon arrival in Bandhavgarh, India Tourism representatives will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Bandhavgarh National Park is a premier wildlife preserve in the Vindhya mountain range of Central India. In the afternoon enjoy jeep safari in the Park. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 10 Bandhavgarh

Hearty breakfast and lavish lunch at the hotel. Morning and afternoon jungle safari. The flora of Bandhavgarh is mainly comprised of moist deciduous forest, though at higher altitudes one may also come across mixed forests. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 11 Kanha

Hearty breakfast and jeep safari in the morning. Later drive to Kanha National Park. Upon arrival in Kanha, India Tourism representatives will assist you to transfer you to the resort. The Kanha National park is one of the many fascinating natural destinations of Madhya Pradesh. In the afternoon go on a Safari in the park. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.

Day 12 Kanha

Hearty breakfast and lavish lunch at the hotel. Morning and afternoon jeep safari in Park. The Kanha National Park is the natural habitat of a number of rare species of plants and animals. The park houses 22 species of mammals and an approximate of 200 species of birds. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the resort.

Day 13 Mumbai

After hearty breakfast in the morning, drive to Nagpur airport to board flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival in Mumbai, Travel Horizon Sai Vardhan representatives will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. and transfer to hotel.

Day 14 Leave Mumbai

You will be accompanied by India Tourism representative to airport to board flight for your home/onward destination.
